2005 cl65/28k miles
mods-
k&n filters
stg 2 speedriven ecu
3'' turbo back exhaust,200 cell cats,burns mufflers
5 gal ice resovoir in trunk
91/100 mix
245/18 mt dr's
temp 70-73 deg/ +3225-3500 DA
1st run:1.67/7.18@99.8/11.13@124.7
2nd run:1.73/7.20@100.5/11.13@125.3
3rd run: spun bad! 11.5@124
4th run: 1.68/7.16@100.3/11.10@125.0
tires at 18psi all runs/launches at 1100-1200rpm
finally got my 60fts down to the high 1.6x which is all i could ask for out of this heavy beast. the car i think had an 11.0 tonite, but i was asked to leave.
with temps dropping another 20 degrees and and the da dropping to +1500, i think i have a shot at the 10s here in vegas this winter. hopefully i will have my stg 3 100 octane tune, speedriven intercoolers/cold air kit & tcu for consistant high 10 sec runs

Bring that thing to Famoso on November 20th, we had a few Vegas guys join us last year and they had a blast. We're expecting DA below 500 ft and temps around 55 F

Practical question - awesome numbers, but how does it feel? Must feel very fast!
How is the car driving with all of those mods? Do you roll the throttle off launch and when do you floor it? How do the mods affect the feeling/smoothness of the car? Does it feel as fast as it is?

a 1.67 feels very fast in this car-the torque really puts you in the seat. car drives just like stock and is still very quiet. its almost floored off the line and feels very smooth(does not feel or sound like a racecar at all). car definately does not feel as fast as it is- i have to tell people we are cruising at 100+
the first time out at the track, it felt like a 13 sec pass. it went 11.5
i have a 10 sec c6z sitting next to the 65 in the garage that will prob get no love this winter(except maybe for a for sale sign
)

DA on this run was +3450

Your car will definately break into the 10's come late November or early December. I watched a couple of your runs from the stands and everybody loved it........especially the announcer. I was wondering where you disappeared to after a while and didn't realize they kicked you out. Are you going out this Wednesday?

They were pretty nice considering you didn't even have a helmet. Congrats, that is a 10 second car for sure. Just roll up to Sacramento one of these cooler days and you'll probably get 10.6 with ungodly traps, plus you won't get the boot here if you've got a Snell M2005-rated or better helmet.

prob wont set a record. the top 2 guys with cl65's(steve&marko) are trapping 134mph! i dont think i can muster up another 9mph. 130 would be nice. 5mph isnt too much to ask

I didn't realize you weren't running with a helmet. I always wear mine after watching my buddy put his vette into the wall at 70mph. He walked away uninjured but you could see the paint transfer from his helmet too the door glass where it hit.
