E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Talk to me about offsets....

What is the factory offset for E55 wheels?
I know they are 8 in wide in front and 9 in rear.
Is offset different for fronts and rears?

I know a wider rear wheel always looks better,
but how about an 8.5 in front ?

What about these wheels:

Subjective - but how would they look?
Are those the EXACT same (offsets, widths, etc) as the Factory AMG CLS/S-class wheels....? Same style at least....
If I purchased, I wouldn't want them to stick out too far or look odd.
Ideally I like the factory split 5-spokes and the way they sit/etc -- would these be much different ASIDE OF COURSE from style?

Thanks a ton guys

offset on the stock wheel is different in the front and the back. The lower numeric value of the offset the more the wheel will stick outside. The CLS has an offset of 23 in the back and 25 in the front. IMO i have stock CLS 18 inch wheels on my car and the fit perfectly flush with the fender. Stock E55 wheels have a higher offset than CLS wheels, hence they are more recessed into the fender.

Thanks Gentleman.

What are dimensions/length of factory W211 lug nuts??
And they are acorn style correct, not ball ?

Thanks

****EDIT: I figured out they are 14x1.5.
But what is the total length/shank length?
Acorn or ball ?****

They are 1.1" and the stock bolt is a ball seat. If you are using aftermarket wheels you are probably going to need to switch them to a cone seat most likely. Whatever you need I have everything in stock and can ship them out the same day.
