Photos of heat exchanger install
This is the install of a Eurocharged heat exchanger
I had to drill out and remove the old brackets for the lower cooler and very carefully drill holes in the plate
of the exchanger and install 5/32 rivits in to hold it to the heat exchanger remeber if you hit the first row
of the core it is trash only drill the plate id suggest using a drill bit stop only use aluminum or stainless rivits
otherwise corrosion will start. I was able to reuse all the hoses.

The 2 clips that you are talking about do have to be cut off, yet after reinstalling the bumper I do not notice the bumper being and weaker or looser, so it is okay in my opinion.

looks good, I like how it adds kind of an aggressive look when you see it through the bumper..like "oh, that car may have power" lol

Replaces stock! Just a tad larger, just what you need
unless you have already changed your mind and decided to add a pulley
Like i advised you before, you can do something like that and then call these people http://www.bellintercoolers.com/ if you decide to add another one, but you'll need to know how much space you can play with after the EC unit is installed----modification will be required..

Newb here when it comes to Benz performance stuff...
Would a better/bigger HE on a stock E55 benefit anything? Or is it mainly beneficial to those with pulleys...
