Wow, killer fitment on the rear wheel, mind to share you specs ? (width and offset) Any rubbing ? What about the front ?
I also plan to stay on 18" to maximize performance and comfort, I do not need looks upgrade with my sleeper... That being said, I want to stay "proper", aka no Japanese wheels, but old school BBS. Any one has a pics of 18" BBS LM on a W211 E ?

I believe Benzboi is selling a set of BBS LM 19" or 20's. I have not seen anyone with a set in LM's in 18" for the E...do they exist?

i hate my 20's after 3 years of wheel repairs every two months, and twice breaking tires in the last two months i went back to stock today.... it really looks weird but i didnt cringe while driving trying to avoid imperfections in the road... i need to find a set of 19's now. will be putting a set of 4 20" radenergie r10's with 3 nearly new toyo t1r's up for sale...

I would love to be able to fit a 315-30-18 tire on the rear of the E55. I think it can be done with some massaging of the fenders and frame work. It would look so sick from behind.
For any guys interested, we have widened tons of wheels using this wheel company over on svtperformance.com
They do excellent work and stock 18's widened to 18X10.5" with a Hoosier 315-30-18 would look insane outback, GOT MEAT

Wonder how cheaply one could pick up a second set of stockers to do this with...

MBWorld Fanatic!
I own both 18's and 19's.
My car looks SO much better with the 3-piece, 19" forged goodness mounted on her. I get a lot of compliments and she really turns heads.
But as soon as I get in and drive I am terribly disapointed in the ride quality and the issues I have had with bent rims. Getting them perfectly balanced to avoid vibrations is tricky as well.
For me it is the stockers for my DD beast!
I think every member here who has run 19's or 20's will admit that you give something up in performance and the larger combo can give you problems.
Your decision should be based on weather or not you can live with the issues.
Good luck!
