Can you guys tell me the following for those who have aftermarket HE's:

1) Are they dual pass HE's?
2) What is the length, width and thickness?
3) where the the inlet/outlet and brackets located?

I am going see if it is possible to run the 03/04 cobra HE's.
I am going to talk to the owner to see if he can make one for me without the brackets and give it a try, big savings and they make sick products.
I am thinking all that is needed is a bracket relocate, they are monsters, here is a link:

Maybe we could squeeze a GT500 HE in there, measurements will be needed to check for clearance.

Maybe run a intercooler reservoir:

Also offer HE's with fans, see these:

When code3 performance was around.. (Brandon) was a former 03 Cobra owner and had the same thoughts when launching his HE.

I think he used a Cobra core to start design.

I was the first fitted HE and he custom made the brackets.

H/E should not be expensive, since the Ford guys use the same stuff.

The outlets are both on the passenger side. There is a thread where a guy installs a Cobra HE. He had to cut some stuff off inside (metal) bumper brace and bolted directly to it. He then trimmed the plastic bumper piece to get the bottom to fit. Bottom line, it fit with work. The issue however is not the efficiency of the HE, it is the efficiency of the Intercooled cores on top of the engine. You would be better off just getting an aftermarket HE from one of the sponsors that is a direct bolt on, and add the Meziere pump. (WP136S)

That will get you as good as you can get. Trust me, this has been a topic for a LONG time. You will be happy with the IAT's given this config. If you race hard, you will need to search for other methods.

MBH is supposed to be making a bigger HE (Full Height) for the W211.. but if you read what I just posted, the benefits are probably marginal. The pump is where you will find some relief.
