With mixed emotions, I traded in my E63 for a Panamera Turbo. I particularly enjoyed the look and feel of the CLK BS steering wheel that I added and felt that it was too good to let it go in on the trade. My dealer quoted me $2500 for the conversion. It's less than a year old and in perfect condition. Yours for $1200.

That does not really look like the black series wheel to me. It looks kind of deformed with the bottom not being completely flat? Maybe it is just the picture though.
The picture is correct. The wheel is formed (not completely circular) with a flattened bottom. The diameter is slightly smaller and the wheel feels definitely fatter. All in all, I really liked it.
