Btw, ...what whatever you do, don't refer to San Fran as "Frisco" - Frisco is in Texas.

touchy touchy. LOL Ok I will not call it CALI and wont say FRISCO. It should be fun none the less. I cant wait to not have extreme tempretures all year long. Tired of the cold snow and ice. Plus my son is a HUGE Lakers fan so he sees the move as a plus for him. I will see if I have to tag the car there or keep it in KS.

Property tax in California is actually lower than many states percentage wise. They did this proposition 13 back in the seventies that set limits. I don't follow the states politics anymore having left San Diego in 96, but I'm sure they are trying to figure a way to repeal prop 13.

I'm not sure if you will be able to keep the cars licensed in KS or not. I live in Indiana and my wife just went down to Mississippi for a 6 month contract job. Two days after being down there, the local pOlice (his name was Kooter) told my wife she had to license the car in MS if she was going to be in the state for more than 30 days. Kinda sucks, we just licensed her car for a year in IN, now have a year license in MS and will have to relicense in IN in 6 months. I hope you don't have the same trouble.
