Jody sold me a brand new set of wheels only, then i bought the MT's..but he used the same setup on his CL65..the guy i sold it to might still have them Kevinmichelle23 i think was his screen name..they dont make the kosei on those dimensions anymore.

Quote: We all know I'll be there, regardless of what I say. I've never missed one.

Oddly enough, a 90 mile trip takes me 2.5hrs on Friday rental, due to rush hour traffic. Hopefully it's only an hour and a half for me on a Saturday.

I know Adam too. Can't believe that was your E39 M5. That thing is bad ***. He had the same traction issues I had last time out.
LOL, yep, that is one of the cars I wish I would have just kept and forgot about it. It is one of the cleanest E39s around

Charlie, get your ***** running good and go hit some 10' already....gosh! It's time to stop messing around with all these mods that don't work...lol.
Quote: Count me in!
I need to do some serious data logging.

+2 on Charlie getting that thing into the 10's already, please dont give up bro
Just think, it will be easier to sell as a ten second car!
Jebus... no pressure. lol I would love to see 10s but haven't really proven that the car is close to that yet. Thanks for the vote of confidence though guys. If the car is running strong again, I will run it, but there is also a chance that project 2jz M5 will be ready in time so......

But more importantly, what's on the menu this time Brian?!?!

I dont know much about the CLS platform. I like CCW's but they are pricey for just track wheels. They can custom make you a set for your CLS

I might be able to attend this one. Is there a cap on how many cars you will let attend? Basically, 40-XX?

By the way Clayton, if this works out, I would love it if you could actually run it down the track a few times. I have been on a 1/4 track only a few times so i'm sure you could wheel it down there a little better then I!

C'mon Charlie, you know she has a ten second pass in her, just need to get a better tune with the meth. You were hitting 11.4's in terrible weather with a pig rich tune. Between the meth and the 104 you always run (dick) should only be a matter of tweaking,

Wonder if Jeremy will come, I think he owes you some love...lol.

After thinking about this again. Make sure you bring a set of drag radials with you. If we're gonna run another dedicated street tire lane, which we should, traction will be nonexistent again.

I think Jay still has the Kosei's. You should see if he wants to sell them. I think he is retiring his CL600 from track duty.

I'm trying to figure an inexpensive set up now. Not sure if I should do 17s or 18s?

I can turn you on to a guy that has a set of 18X8 Kosei's with 265/40's on there.

Too narrow for my car, and I'm not sure about fitment for yours, but if you're interested, PM me. I'll give you his email. His price is reasonable.

I think I'm just gonna buy a new set of MTs and put them on my OEM wheels. Efff it.

Too bad they won't fit your car, those things hook and they are in real great shape but OEM should work!

That's the issue. The guy says they do not have offsets stamped on the inside. They only have the rim size!

Thanks, hopefully they will work with spacers at least. Beaphus is turning me on to some quality hub centric ones that bolt to the hub!
