2006 CLS500 with 55 AMG motor, 2008 Infiniti G35, 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager
Thanks Man!
-its a 600 motor, same internals as the 65 but you already know that..
-Crank Horsepower- these days people throw 1000 HP around like nothing, I really don't know, but not really interested in HP figures, I am more interested in 1/4 mile times. Thats where the real test is at.
-Internals are stock, all we have is Speedriven intercoolers & their Custom tune for this set up and Marcins expert advice.
-Driveline remains completely stock, except transmission. It has been rebuilt with OEM mercedes parts, we also upgraded the Valve Body to a new one, 65's and 600s are the same but we got a newer year. The one we had was making transmission slip and I could barely hit 3rd gear without it limping.
We put a higher stall torque converter (3000 stall) this improves spool of the line. Once the diff shatters we will upgrade that. LOl. Next upgrade is reinforcing the subframe.

Nice work. I wonder if speedriven can upgrade my tranny? It has been working really well though. It will be almost 1 year since my swap, and all is well so far.
Good luck at the track bro

Thanks Guys!...It is not only pretty, it goes too!!! We will have some times shortly.
I am trying to hit the strip next week, I have been trying for a while but everytime something comes up. We finally got her to stop from breaking up. I was able to hit 1.5 Bar 2 nights ago with no issues.
She is still on the rich side, but we will get her fine tuned soon.

I'm surprised that Jeffrey has not had you consider putting a standalone in your car at this point. Would be much better. That's what he's using in his Porsche and his Turbocharged C36 Jodeth, which I know you knew that.

Just bumping this up. One of the most whipass builds I've seen. There isnt much room for that engine in the cars MB puts it in, even less in a 211. Props for an epic build, and 6262's.. your mad!

I'm pretty sure it was you that drove through Huntington last Thursday night. I figured you were going to stop and hang out, I wanted to check your beast out, but you never stopped. It sounded great coming down the road.

Out Of Control!!
Damn, I just read all 15 pages and I have to say that this is probably the most epic build ever to happen in a modern Benz. I've gotta say the car god's must be afraid of this thing since they keep throwing hurdles your way, lol
I can easily see this car(once it is done) not only smashing records, not only setting the bar... But making a new Teflon coated bar and raising it to a new level.
Congrats Jody, all your hard work and patience looks to be paying off!
I am close to getting a runway closed at the airport I host Cars and Copters at. This year we are expecting 1300 cars, and keep bugging the airport commission to close the whole airport for half a day so we can run some cars

And Jody-
Your car is the best project mercedes I have ever seen. Never thought the V12 would fit, but you made it work. Keep up the great work man. Once you get her up to top shape you have to take me out for a little spin! Looking forward to see you out at our events in the future! Are you going to Captree this sunday? I should be out there with a couple people.

Updates are:
Waiting on new Speedriven turbo kit to get here, Tubular manifolds, Tial GT30's turbos along with Tial small housings, speedriven custom stall converter and some other goodies.
Short story is the turbos I have while they are big are very laggy from a dead stop. We had the concept that a 3K stall would help but it has made it worst. Since stall is nearly 3K, it's too short of a rev range which shifts right into second.
In order for you to take advantage of this stall the motor has to be a high reving engine, which this V12 is not. Next we have a bad case of IC heat soak.
IAT's at take off with a full tank of ice were in the 133 range..not good. We are replumbing the IC system once the new turbo set up gets here.
To this date the best time at the track which would make it our first outing would be 11.6 @ 130. With all the issues and heat soak problems I am impressed this sucker trapped 130 on a 2.0 60 Footer.
I tell you what though, from a 70mph roll it puts you in a tunnel.

my opinion, once you start moding either the 55k or the 65's digs are hmm not a good way to start a race, unless your at the track with glue for roads and glue tires
