Continental ExtremeContact DWs
I just ordered a set from tirerack today and was wondering if anyone else was sporting these and what they thought about them?
I know they ride pretty well but how are they in the performance department
(I've watched tireracks video review but I want to hear from e55 ppl)
Also, how long should I expect these tires to last, I drive pretty hard most of the time.
Especially in dense traffic...

I currently have these tires on my 07 E63, I am extremely happy with these tires so far. They have a great wear rating, outstanding grip in the dry as well as wet. I haven't had any hydroplanning in th wet. These tires should last a very long time, longer then any other tires, I had thus far. Their extrememly compliant to any road surface. I will purchase these tires for my C63, when those tires wear out. If your constantly doing burn outs, then no tire will last long period. I drive enthusiastically and they have been do great, no observe wear yet.

These are really great tires... I have around 5k on them id say and havent really noticed much wear yet (and this is driving pretty spirited and a few track days).. Good to see you didnt skimp out on a cheap tires with such a high tq car.

Have both - DW's for my summer set up; DWS's for my winter set up - you shouldn't be disappointed with with either - very little wear - I am also a spirited driver and there is very little wear on both sets (about 10,000 miles on each set, more than a few burnouts with them). The DW's definitely handle better than the DWS's (stiffer side walls - less push but you're still going to push in this car) but I haven't switched yet to my winter set up and when the DW's are cold (as in 40 degrees) the yellow light comes on much quicker and more often than when the DWS's are on in the cold...

@motorkas
I was trying to decide between these and the Michelin PS2s but went with these because they handled better in wet weather(my favorite time to drive), I'm guessing have longer tread life, and are still max performance tires.
How long did it take you to break in the tires? If you remember that is.
