It's gonna be a E63 front end conversion with WALD LED day time driving lights (will be wired as fog lights). I ordered the kit from Japan about two months ago and received the kit from WALD a couple weeks ago. The frame of the grille is made of FRP and the grille itself is stainless steel. LED lights have three wires that allow you to wire it into both the parking lights (as DRL) and as foglights. Resistor is included to avoid error message in the MFD.

 

Looks pretty cool. How much do those lights cost?

 

I have same idea of this project plus a fog light under the LED one but only if there is space. I already modified my bumper and I am running without fog lights but with grill until I settle on a design.

Even without the fog lights, the car looks great at the moment.

 

do they make this for the standard bumper? or only AMG bumpers?
