Kompressor clutch replacement pics
As you can see from the pics, 80k miles takes it toll on the clutch. I was also tipped off by a Mercedes tech to remove two of the spacers that are located behind the clutch unit. He said it would help with no chirping in the future and allow for a bit quicker engagement.
What a difference it made! No chirp and very smooth engagement. Traction light was on alot more and earlier than before.

It only took 30 minutes to replace. Pull the cooling fan and front shroud out and you can get to the bolt with an impact. the clutch comes with a new bolt and spacers.
The part number for the "kit" is 113 090 0044
My concern is that the clutch would be partially engaged when the ECU is calling for disengagement.
