I have looked through old threads, I want to know if I took out the secondary cat and left the Resonator, will it effect my HP?, and will I need to re tune my car?

here ya go, I hear that if you remove the secondaries that you will lose some (may only be able to tell on the dyno) bottom end torque????

not sure about a loss of HP, but mine still ran a high 11 with these deleted. I do warn you though that the secondary cats are in an akward place. Deleting these can be a lil tricky so take your car to an exhaust shop you know. there is a crossover pipe that connects the exhaust just before the secondary cats. This connection needs to stay intact so keep that in mind.

You do not need to keep that crossover pipe! If you go with an x-pipe or straight pipes it will still be better than the stock set-up. Also, you gain power by removing the 2nd cats and not lose. The power loss comes from removing the resonator which I can attest to since I just had it done. The car does not feel as violent at take off. Hope this helps
