In car camera and datalogging 1960's style
And here is an early version of data-logging, who went by the name of Bert, on Gurney's Eagle at Goodwood
Bruce McLaren or maybe one of his engineers tied himself to the front of a (CanAm) car to watch suspension movement during a test day. While there he noticed that a bodywork flap was opening due to air pressure from the radiator inlet and this led to the opening in McLaren's after the radiator to let air out and immediately solved his understeer problem.
