my warranty expires next month so i am taking the 'beast' in for a final final check up - anything i should have them look cloesly at? I have 40K miles on the clock and the engine is stock - overall the car has been a work horse - no IC pump or airmatic failure - the biggest complaint was an AC fix, blown rear speaker, and a crack in the cup holder wood - all replaced by MBUSA - car is going to become my daily drive for the next 3-4 years until the bi-turbo is out and hopefully the body of the 212/213 grows on me

motor mounts and tranny mount.. they tend to go out about every 40k.. I just had mine replaced and can be expensive. I am sure other people will give their suggestions, thats just mine!

+1000000, they will fail, it is certain.

If you can, have them replace:
-Crank positioning sensor
-Bushings
-Gaskets
-Tensioner Pulley FOR SURE

We should get a list going. These components should all start failing after 50K miles. You can get into an extended warranty and your car still qualifies for a great aftermarket warranty like Fidelity/Mercury. Pick one up and you're in great shape!

thanks for suggestions - i will have them take a double look at all above - i have called a few companies about an extended warranty and have had no luck thus far - i will do some more calling this next week.
