BMW M5
LM 22 is one of the best snow tires for my M5, I have used this tire for 2 winters on a seperate set of rims, unfortunatly they are just (good) for handling, high speed driving no problem but when you get Into some twisties watch out. I went from a sled to a snowmobile with these tires. Road/Tire noise Is minimal.
Hope this helps

Exactly

What I was looking for in a response.
With respect to handling, is it that traction is limited, albeit linear in breakaway or are the characteristics fundementally different (i.e., they are like velco and let go without warning or just soft).
