My suggestion for that would be to save some dough during the storage months then shower her with a pulley and some headers come spring time Or a new pair of shoes

I never have decals but I have seen amg's with the small 3 inch ones in the upper left or right of the windshield...they look okay but the banner ones are terrible imo

Ghetto. I rocked a euro plate on my Audis for 2 years until some rookie POS cop gave me 3tix in 2 weeks. Dick. Was actually a huge reason I trader her in, couldnt stand the square plate in front.

Nothing, but you have to admit, there are more Mustangs with window decals then MBs. Just not real fitting on any car really! Sorry for the low blow! I take it back! It is straight hillbilly on any car

Don't be a baby about it. Just be thankful toward those who have expressed enough good taste for you to change your mind.

His car probably cost twice what my "real AMG" did. Nothing too exclusive about a $25K used family car, "real" or not. These aren't Pagani Zonda's or anything.

Nothing too exclusive about a E350 either.. Im pretty sure they made a lot less E55s then they did E350s?? So wait, he could have had 2 E55s ($25k each) or an E350, and he chose a 350.. Wow... I just dont understand the logic of that, but to each their own..

You guys have made your point.. Thanks for the input..

Lol. Thanks for bringing in some level headedness. All cars depreciate, and at the end of the day, it's about which is valuable to you, etc. E55's are sweet rides, and so are E350's!

You asked about the windshield atrocity. I didn't buy my ride for "exclusivity".

I love E55's, my W211 with AMG Package looked just like your E55 (Pewter, same AMG body styling), and I still miss it. I drove a CLS55 AMG back to back with my E350, and went with the much more costly E350. Certainly, what appeals to me more is different then you, yes?

Get a Vodafone banner. Jk. I always put a black solid banner on my vehicles. Looks more agressive from the outside and from the inside while driving as well.

Pretty much. Just a solid vinyl banner instead. Have thought about tinting the whole thing but not sure how visibility would be.

To answer that, I've had 35% on my windshield (not the e55) and have taken most of it off after a few weeks and just left a big strip on the top, its way too dark and unsafe at night. But if you go to a higher % (like 50, which is a lot lighter), I literally can't drive without it again.
I tinted the windshield after I got a ticket for 29% side tints on my other car (35 being legal). I retinted it to 35 and tinted the windshield too. Kind of fighting fire with fire sort of deal .

Nice! I may have to give it a go. Gonna get some on another car soon so I may do the windshield as well.
