Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place for this but since it is specific to AMG, I figured I'd look around here. Most places can handle a Mercedes, but an AMG is a special beast!
I have a 2006 E55 AMG stock with most options and about 50k on mileage. I also was one of the lucky ones that bought the Chrysler extendo before they stopped selling them.
I'm just looking for a reliable shop that can handle the AMG and has better prices than the stealership.
For those in or around the Atlanta area, I work in Alpharetta and live up in Suwanee/Cumming area.
Thanks!

Brett - I actually use the dealership here in town because I've always been so extremely happy with their service.
If you've got an extended warranty (I have the same one you do for my '06 E55 w/45k on the ticker), I say suck up the extra few bucks on the small things and use a dealer for everything.
RBM up by you is an option...very familiar with AMG's obviously...and I had an AMG certified tech rebuild a C32 engine for me a few years ago.
But...MB of Buckhead is one of 27 AMG performance dealers in the US. They the #1 authorized AMG, Renntech, Carlsson, Kleemann , Evo Sport installer for the South east...ande the number one Kleemann dealer in South and North America.
I took my E55 over to MB of Buckhead this morning to have a squeak checked out. In and out in with a loaner in about 10 min.

So far my service has been good with RBM in Sandy springs. Though I live and work in Alpharetta, I still drive down there because the SA I have down there is a pleasure to deal with. Listens to all I have to say and has smooth transactions with my CSC. Used CSC about 3 times so far at that dealership with no hassle. Hope this helps.
OT: I've been spotting a sort of Tectite grey E55 in the area. That wouldn't be you would it?

Do you use the dealership for things such as brakes?
What's your techs name? You can send me a PM on that and let me know if I can use your name as the guy that recommended me if your ok with that.

You pretty much just described my car haha. I did a service B there once, and at the same time, got a tranny service, coolant flush and i cant recall what else. On a separate visit, changed my motor and tranny mounts, brake fluid flush and replaced an exhaust manifold due to a crack and oil level sensor.
Now i pretty much do all my maintenance. Did brake pads myself (akebono = no more black wheels), do oil now and did sparkplugs too.

It could have been since I'm in that area every once in a while. Mine has the S63 style wheels, a carbon trunk lip spoiler and I sprayed my grille black as well. Could have been I guess. I'm always on the lookout for 55's around here. Seen a couple of silver ones around too. Trying to see if I have a recent pic of my car but can't find one while at work

I'm not sure I'll go back to Buckhead Imports.... PM if you want more details. Or just leave it at that.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Just FYI,
if it matters, Jason is not at the Buckhead store anymore. He is spending most of his time at the new Vinings store. Found this out today.

I just looked up their Vinings location...I can literally throw a rock at it from my neighborhood. Hmmm.....

RBM North gets my business. I had the dreaded supercharger squeak and they were the only dealership who fixed it correctly. They ordered a complete pulley assembly, no questions asked. The other 2 dealerships I went to, tried to tell me it's normal...right...
