Does anyone kbow who aound N.C can lower my car via STAR?
I live in Charlotte N.C... And I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my car lowered via STAR around here?
Any help is appreciated..
If I don't find a place I will have to just wait for a used ELM to come available at good price.

Call Brothers Auto Service, they are in Indian Trail, ask for Jason 704-882-3183. They do mainly only Mercedes work. I can't say enough about this place ... very very very good service and Jason knows pretty much anything there is to know about a Mercedes. They have done all service on my E and my ML.
They only thing he has said they don't do is any type of body work. But aftermarket installs for performance mods is all good.
If you do get it lowered via Star, let me know because Im going there next

His wife crazy
Hey, did you ever call Curt @CW? My car was already lowered when I bought it, but it was done using the washer method. He does all of the non warranty work on my car.
Tell him Marlon sent you.

If you don't mind driving to Charleston, I might be able to get my buddy to lower it for you, via STAR. Shoot me a PM if you're still interested.

RE: Shop to Lower via STAR
I may have replied to your prior post, excuse if this is a duplicate.
My indie is located in Durham, a little far for you, but they can do it right. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Euroclassics Ltd. They are on the web. Ask for Ken or Roshan. Tell them Erik from ADI referred you.
I have my non warranty work done there. They are performance guys, presently have more than a few high perf Porsche Turbos, AMG's, BMW M's, and even a couple of SRT Mopars either as toys or for sale.
Great guys to work with.

How did the lowering links turn out? I'm considering them because I can't find anyone to help me lower via STAR in Charlotte.

links are on the front and worked great. very very easy to install the fronts. the rears are freaking impossible. i still dont see how people are removing the stock rear link with just a screwdriver like the instructions say. maybe if it was up on a lift and you could get some leverage ... i just couldnt get it.
i read where someone said all you have to do is move the rear just a little and it will lower it a lot, so thats what i did. i put a few washers in the link bracket to "lift" it up a little and it lowered it perfect!
incidentally, my right front passenger airstrut went out the other day, i have a thread about it. i dont think it was related to the link install.
once i get the strut replaced (appt thurs to install new arnott strut), ill take pics and put a thread up about my car, i havent dont that yet since i joined these forums.
