electronic bird whistling noise
There is an unusual sound coming from the hood/dashboard area during hard acceleration from about 3000-4500 RPM. It sounds like an electrical beeping/bird whistling noise that lasts at least 1 second, no more than 2 seconds.
Ive searched this forum and ive come up with a few results, like the "chirp" noise. Mostly Ive seen tensioner, belt, and supercharger clutch pack (never heard of it) as the issues. Which one could mine be?
I dont have weird sounds when car is idle or when i drive normally, only during hard acceleration.

Are you sure it isn't your AC blower motor? Mine makes a birdlike chirping noise occasionally... Don't want to get it repaired cause I don't trust the dealer to rip apart the dash and put it back together without creating new rattles...

You can replace the blower motor easily without taking apart the dash. Takes about 30 minutes and it's just under the glove box area.
