ESP/Alignment E55 Question

I slid after turning a corner going like 20mph in the snow and luckily nothing was in the way. The driver side front wheel hit the curb and there was no damage fortunately. Afterwards, the steering wheel was misaligned and i noticed on the cluster it said esp. After i got back home, i turned the car off and went inside. When i came outside to turn on the car, the message was gone. Is this a bad sign or should i just go get an alignment? Thank you.

It seems fine to drive besides the fact that the steering wheel is 45degrees to the right.
