My '03 E55, ever since I bought it (3 months ago...) has a rough idle. I just had the motor and tranny mounts replaced. It starts fine, no CEL or anything and after about 45-60 seconds, the rpm fluctuate for about 15-30 seconds, then they smooth out and all is fine. Is this normal or is this indicative of any kind of issues I should investigate? I wasn't sure if this might be a vacum leak from teh intake gaskets or something.

Congratz on the whip! Mine was doing the same, I think its normal for it to fluctuate depending on temperature..but that's a guess. My car is in the shop as we speak. I'm getting the Fort Lightening IC pump installed, rad flush and fill as well as new spark plugs. Hopefully the little rought idle that I felt will go away.

I would suggest you look into changing your plugs as it is a step in the right direction if it hasn't been done recently.
