Looking for a switched +12v in the front light dome
Hi guys, I'm trying to hardwire my Passport 9500ix, I opened the front dome but I can't find a switched +12v, anyone has the wiring diagram or a tip ?

So I was able to find a switched +12v in the dome light, the HomeLink buttons in the rear view mirror does required a +12v and it happened to only get hot on after the key in inserted.
The problem is that is it hard to find, as it only work if you plug both circled connectors and it is a pain to get some leads in there when the connectors are plugged into the dome light. Following is a close up of the connector and the piggyback for the radar detector power.
For those not handy with a soldering iron, you can get a cable already made from theses guys. Ridiculously expensive for what it is if you ask me.
Nice clean install with a very short piece of cable coming out of the dome light directly into the radar detector. The detector is attached with 3M double side tape on the back of the stock suction cups mount, minus the suction cups.

You would be better served to run a line down the a-pillar and then over to the drivers side fuse box. The Overhead light module can read current load and if the SAM thinks its pulling to much current it will turn it off

I understand it's been a while but what was the wire color you tapped in?
