My Project
Hey guys I know that this is the wrong section but i figured since the S55 forums as dead you guys would be interested in my project. I have recently acquired a CL55 engine and tranny (connected ) with 55k on it and plan on swapping my S430 engine and tranny out. I have some questions on what you guys would suggest on engine mods as I would like to do them while the engine is out of the car, so far I am thinking this route but dont know the brands everyone prefers,
-denso plugs new wires
-180 mm pulley
-82 mm throttle body
-ECU tune
-LTH
-Carbon fiber air box/ intake tubes
-sprint booster
-phenolic spacers
-heat exchanger
anything else I miss please let me know thanks guys

+1 Everyone always seems to want to go this route and it is nothing but a money pit. I almost did it myself with my W210 E320, but thought twice when someone gave me some reasonable advice.

well i figured all you guys would be interested since you all mod your cars endlessly and i took on the project because the parts were very cheap, well hopefully one day i can hang with yall at a track event till then
