Chryslr Warranty DONE with Mercedes....
So I just got an email from Todd at Chrysler Warranty Coverage, And he said they are NO longer covering BMW and Mercedes Vehicles PERIOD. Iam sure they are going to continue to cover what they already have covered, But who's to say they wont send out the Denial of coverage letters.... Awesome thanks for the heads up. What A JOKE. What sucks is we had rates setup, And an Inspection for coverage ready to go and they pulled the plug and said they cant do it anymore. . There was nothing but good things said about Chrysler coverage in the Warranty thread to.. (However I did see some people geting denial letters for there coverage)
So back to the drawing block for me I would like to find something that my fellow AMG owners like and have had no issues with.

Man, I had a feeling the day would come. I was hoping to use them to get an extended warranty for my 550i when the CPO ran out..this really sucks. My 2006 E55 was just in for about 1,500 worth of warranty work and they paid without a hitch. Now I am hoping they don't cancel the warranty for current insureds - this is one car I don't want to own without a warranty.

My SL600 is warrantied through Fidelity Warranty Services. I have their most comprehensive Platinum coverage with $100 deductible. They've never denied a claim, and have always been quick with settling payment with my dealership. The only caveat is they send an inspector out for any repair over $1000.00, which delays service by a day usually.

I just used my CSC recently, for a relatively minor repair (few hundred bucks). They covered it, no different than any before. My coverage is unlimited mileage until sometime in 2013, IIRC.
Weren't there comments in the other thread that May 2010 was a tipping point where CSC stopped issuing new contracts for MB/AMG owners? AFAIK, there's been no evidence that existing contracts are being denied or cancelled. But it is unfortunate for those who wish to obtain new contracts.
I've heard good and bad things about Fidelity, but they sound pretty reputable by BOR's post above. I've also heard good things about Easy Care.
CSC's problem, in my opinion, was improperly pricing the contracts for the coverage allowed. These cars are so expensive to repair when systems fail, that a comprehensive multi-year aftermarket service contract should probably cost $6-7k.

The previous owner purchased the contract when the car had 9,000 miles on it, so it was transferred over to me. I purchased the car with 11,000 miles I think, and I paid $20.00 to have the contract transferred over to me.

Chrysler has covered my around $15k worth of repairs.. no joke!
I paid $3k for 3 years, unlimited miles, at 100 deductible.
I have one more year remaining... and my car is currently at the dealer for a drianing battery. Prob voltage regulator or alternator.
If it was not for CSC, I would of let the bank repo this Fkn car.
List of items.
New 4 airmatic structs and shocks and ball joints
motor mounts
new kompressor
new transmission and torque convertor
new radiator
2 air pump and relays
head light

The main bulk of those $15,000 i,e Transmission/kompressor and possibly the motor mounts could simply be explained by the modifications alone. I would also think when dealers see the owner has the warranty especially the kind that never ask questions,i am sure they do all they can to milk them, won't you ?

btw: I have never run my car in the track or have gone over 130mph and I can count in one hand the times I had to run this car over 120mph.
transmission was due to the bad radiator
mounts are normal for these cars.
kompressor.. It was running fine.. they said it needed replacement. I had no problem with that.
