hey all.
i am about to buy a 2005 e55 with 59k miles. Silver/Black 19 in wheels
my only concern is the SRS light is on. Should this be a concern? I live in houston and plan on going to Dallas to see vehicle.

Wheels have some rash on lips but no biggie.
Thanks,
Aaron

No because this post is worthless. If you are buying it for 1 dollar its still a good deal, if you are paying full retail, you may want to research why the light is on! Good looking car though!
Make sure you pay to have it hooked to Star and not the simple inspection. That is where I screwed up, it looked to me like the computer just spits out a bunch of stuff that may or may not need to be done. Goes by mileage of vehicle, and if service work was performed elsewhere it would not be in the MB dealer databases.

I would definitely get the SRS issue checked out. It will be well worth the diag charge as this could be a very expensive fix. It could be a number of things ranging from a bad sensor to a bad module etc. The fix could be easily be over $1K to fix. Not trying to scare you, but these are expensive and complex cars thus the same is true when it comes time to fix things when they go wrong. Good luck!
