LED Bulbs in Tailights 2006 E55
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the bottom set of bulbs on the tail lights are halogen, with the brake lights being LED. Is there a way to replace the halogen running lights (bottom bulbs) with LED's without having to replace the entire assembly?
Has anyone tried this? Experiences, thoughts, caveats? Thanks for any help!

Yeah it can be done no problem you just need to find out what bulb it takes. Also, you will then buy a red smd-led bulb to replace. If you are looking to do it then just pull the bulb out and find out what kind it is.

The quote was taken from my owners manual. I found this thread in the E-class forum as well: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ourselves.html
