New E55 Owner here
Been lurking for a looong time, and finally pulled the trigger. Got mine last Friday! The drive home from the dealer was unbelievable. 
Its a 2006 Designo Black/Mocha with 81K Miles. I know the miles are high and I'm taking a gamble .. Honestly if it wasn't for this forum, id just get a newer E350 or get another Lexus (Had a gs300 prior to this).
Cant wait for the blizzard to pass and the roads to clear so I can start using it as my DD.

You will be a very happy driver. I can say that my E55 is the best all around car I have owned. or should I say: pwned!

I'm no stranger to MB stealerships either. My wife drives a GL450, and Ive taken it to the dealer for all the maintenance. Ive asked the Service Manager once about E55 Maintenance, and that I was planning to get one. He had a smirk on his face and advised me to make sure I get a warranty - go figure...
Lots of DIY in my future to keep the 55 running, but I know it will be all worth it!
