Thats fine,the new e55 will be about the same weight and have 100more ftlbs over it,Im sure the M will keep up,but its going to be the e55 and m5 all over again with the e55 ahead to about 140-150mph.
This is why I went over to AMGs,I was sick of not having any power under 5000 rpms,
Here is me with sticky tires braking the back end loose at 30-35mph with easy at 2500 rpms.

So for me, I have the benefit of BOTH a high revving sport sedan with a sick top end with gearing and a lower revving GT roadster with a nice deep sound and supercharged torque.
I however cannot stand it when people talk **** about M5s/M6s and claim that they're flat out slower than the "older" AMG Supercharged V8s and the 6.3 AMG V8s.

That's pretty sick! I cannot hear the sound (if there is any) since the computer I'm at doesn't have sound... but I've always liked the low muscle car like growl/rumble of the AMG supercharged V8 (own SL55 AMG)

ohh and this is stock vs stock,my e55 would kill an m5/6 up to 200mph lol

I assume the "only" place and time to race past 140 mph is on an empty highway late at night and on the autobahn.
However, those GTboard videos where they race PAST 140 mph are true and really show how these V10 beasts are geared and powered.

Nissan GTR on the other hand...where did you get that from? Aside from it's crippling power weak top end but VERY fast strong low end, the Nissan GTR cannot be compared really to the Gallardo! I know somebody who raced with a fully modded bolt on M5 and it was only at around 150 mph when he caught up and passed a stock GTR. That's how fast they are.
The GTR should be faster and quicker at lower speeds than a Gallardo and M5/M6 for sure. No competition there.

Sorry if you can't accept that a stock M5/M6 can be quicker/faster all the way after 140 mph even though they aren't realistic speeds to be racing at here. I mean I like the AMG Supercharged V8s too. I still got one myself. (SL55 AMG) No need to bash repeatedly the M5s and M6s.

Yeah I do buddy. Like I have repeated myself many times before...I still have an 03 SL55 AMG and I HAVE raced each other before with a competent friend switching between my cars. No video so bare with me.

Go outside right now and take a pic with a paper on the dash saying hi skratch.ohh and if you do own one your car has a dead supercharger pump.they have updated it like 5 times and 03 were know to fail under 10000 miles on them

Bro your E55 AMG is modded. Of course you're going to win against a VERY lightly modded M5! Even then, it's a 6-speed M5! 6speed manuals are slower (significantly I might add) than their SMG counterparts. The V10 M5s/M6s are ONLY built/based around the 7-speed SMGs only!
I would say mine is as equally modded as his, some intake and exhaust work
The other local smg m5 wont race, so its the best I could do. All my point was that when very similar modded, an e55 will win.
BTW I used to own an e34 m5, so nothing but respect for the bmw dooods

Alright fine. Unfortunately I'm on a short trip right now with the M5 so I can only take a photo of the vehicle on my cellphone. It's sitting in a friend's auto repair shop currently but I'll get it. I'll make sure it says "HI SKRATCH!"
The SL55 will have to come later. I know boo hoo. Yeah yeah I'm fake blah blah blah.
