CHEAP WEIGHT SAVINGS!!!!
LIGHTWEIGHT BATTERY
We are putting together an order for some Braille lightweight battery's right now. We put one of these in Dodgers car the end of last year and we saved over 45lbs. by just doing this. You will not find an easier, cheaper and less invasive way to shave off that kind of weight. If your car was going 11.2 in the quarter you can change the battery and you should go 11.15 (equals about a half a car length in the 1/4) after you install this lightweight unit. Is there a cheaper and easier way to shave 1/2 a tenth of your time?
The Braille battery that we use easily fits in the car, the positive and negative terminals are in the correct locations and you don't need to modify anything with the factory parts to make it work. It is easily installed with basic tools and we can offer it with a mount kit if you like and we can also offer you a nice little trickle charger to keep your battery happy and ready to go during downtime.
Braille Mercedes lightweight battery - $168.00 on sale for $159.00
Billet aluminum mount kit - 98.00
2 amp trickle charger - $88.00
10 amp rapid charger - $129.00
We have this unit in Dodgers car with the mount kit at all, it was a very simple solution to secure the battery without any special mounts. If you are going to the Maryland race on February 18th I can bring the battery and anything else you need with me.
If you have any questions or you just want to place an order, please feel free to PM me or give me a call.

I don't really understand your question. I think you are asking if you have to buy the chargers if you get this battery. If that is your question then the answer is no.
I am only offering the trickle charger and the rapid charger as an option. If you are going to let the car sit or take the battery out of the car it is good to keep it on a trickle charger. The rapid charger will quickly charge a dead battery. When you are driving your car it will automatically charge the battery just like the factory battery.
This lightweight battery has a shelf life of 6 months before it needs a charge.

2003 W211 E55, 2003 W220 S600
can the battery be used in a daily driven car? also does the battery die / loose its charge after it has been sitting for a couple of day? and last of all the w211 E55 are very power dependent when the car is turned off will this battery be able to support that? or this is just for race use.
Sorry for so many questions

The battery will, however, support the demands of your E55.
My honest suggestion is to not rely on this battery as your everyday battery but, if you do race your car, there is no better way to spend money on your car for racing then this battery. If you have a heavily modified car and are looking for a little extra than I think this is the answer for you.
I hope that this answers your questions, if you have any others, please feel free to ask.

My Braille has been in my car for about 8 months.
If you use the car daily its fine. BUT!
Forget about sitting in your car with the stereo (or anything that draws power) for long.
Parked for 7 days battery dead.
Will I buy another when this one fails? YES.
Here's my set up!

Get this battery and replace your rear porky mufflers and you could save close to 90lbs of weight. My stock mufflers once cut off were around 25lbs each.
