CAR UK, March issue has CLS63 TT ...
Bottom line they love it, and reckon best perf sedan available.
Coils up front and air susp at rear.
Options include LSD, performance pack (raises boost to 1.2-3 bar from 1.0), carbon ceramic brakes (9k€ option
), also the wheel rims option are a 40% lighter version...(comes with perf pack I think) - I feel a retrofit coming on...or maybe a trade up!
Launch control, throttle blipping, direct injection, much better economy, great exhaust note... just that gear shift handle wtf? Its not very elegant is it? This is not a hummer!
Reckon the E63TT Coupe is going to be a very nice, and the pick of the bunch.
Also the engine is detuned in the CLS/E so the CL and S have the braging rights. Perf pack adds around 40hp and 100nm torque - if I remember correctly. 800nm is the peak torque with the perf pack now.

it sure is a nice car
i already booked one. which is the first edition that comes in grey matte with special interior designo.
Performance package does not include. LSD, sport suspemsion or lighter wheels. so i had to add them over the P30 and added also illimunated door sills.
so in short i ordered everything in it excluding ceramic brakes.
can't wait for it.
cost me about 180k USD with 3 years warranty from bumper to bumper

Thanks Steve! I don't know why I even listened to Fifth Gear. They hated it but then again, everyone HATES 5th gear so I guess that explains the source.

Topgear seem to be more interested in seeing how a car drifts than its real life performance... but often their end summaries tend to be bang on after meandering a bit. Alos they tend to clown around too much.
btw the new mclaren has got rave reviews in CAR as well....
