I just shipped some Harley stuff to Gauteng today. After almost 8,000 Ebay transactions it was my first time shipping something to South Africa.

Yes, totally pointless but I had a "hey I just shipped **** there" moment.

I'll go back to the 210 section now.

If anyone wants to do an E63 front bumper I'd buy the stock pewter bumper if its clean. Near Chicago would be a plus. Just throwing that out there. lol

Yes it is true. Very bad idea. I was under the impression that it's illegal to have it there due to that, but not sure if that's true.

In a front end crash, the plate will want to move forward towards the windshield, not backwards towards the driver. Physics say so.

So now you assume every crash is a front end crash!I hate stupid advice. Ak, do yourself a favor and throw the plate under your seat. The law states it has to be secured to the front of the car, so in the windshield still gets you a ticket. And as Sneakyneon stated, once your car starts rotating, that razor blade of a front plate is nasty. I saw a girl in a Civic loose the whole half of her face from the flying plate slicing it off. It was an eyeball and cheek bone showing.

He assumed nothing. You didn't read. Sneakyneon said in a front end crash. He was obviously replying to that.

Ahhhh yes, I see said the blind man! My fault. My apologies as well. But I hope you would all agree, there are a million different crashed then a "front end crash" as well. So Ak, dont assume that plate will stay put. Not pretty when it does not.

Yeah, I can agree it's not the best thing to do...although I have yet to ever see or read about anyone getting their head chopped off or anything like that...except for the example you gave but it's kind of a "final destination" thing...lol. It's like crashing a having a pencil in the car fly at you and kill you...lol.
