W211 AMG Discuss the W211 AMG's such as the E55 and the E63

Anyone use one of these coolant pumps.

Anyone use one of these coolant pumps.
I called my buddy Jimmy who builds offshore race boat engines on occasion, and he reccomended a coolant pump brand CSR performance.


He said reliability is better than anything he has ever used and he will send me one to try for free-a CSR923. If I like it, I buy it. 220.00. If not just send it back.

He said flow rate is approximately 33 GPM.

Anyone tried these, or is the flow rate too great?

compare the flow to a meziere wp136s if it is the same then you are good.

Meziere WP136S is 20GPM

CSR 923 is 35 GPM.

Also, it is 5.5amps

Is this a deal breaker?

it may flow too fast, but hey you are getting it for free to try and see if it works. It is a win win situation.
