monitor coolant again just to make sure it goes up to 200F.
Could be the following a stuck thermostat, failing cooling fan and lastly a blown head gasket through which exhaust gases are leaking and heating the coolant up on runs (but i highly doubt it is the head gasket)

Car is back now, 2 brand new struts in the front. Feelsgoodman.jpg that it essentially pays off any future extended warranty I'll purchase in July.
Any idea what the ballpark $$$ is on those? My brother went with a lower temp thermostat [not from PTE] on his track audi and has encountered nothing but problems unfortunately, so I'm hesitant.
