bent rim
I bent one of my rims on the front of my car. I took it to the shop and got it balanced and mounted with a new tire. It balanced fine. I put the rim on the back right of my car. If my car drives without a shimmy is it worth it to get the bend repaired?

If you are not unhappy with the ride quality, IE: steering pulsation, then don't have the wheel trued. A good tire shop can road force match the tire to the rim and minimize the imbalance, but cannot eliminate it.
Eighty bucks is a good price for a properly trued out wheel. I pay $125 per wheel and have as many as six (two cars) wheels trued per pot hole season here in the land of the giant pot hole.
