MAF installation wrong??? 2007 E63

MAF installation wrong??? 2007 E63
I notice the connector on the driver side MAF release tab is facing up. The passenger side is face down. Had to remove the air box in order to get to the passenger side release tab. Is this normal or is one sensor flip upside down?

this is correct, the air must hit the MAF in one direction, the dealer only has one MAF sensor, so what they do is flip the other side upsdie down so the sensor is facing to the front of your vehicle.

I have a 2007 E63 it has 2 MAF in the air tube or are those
Air temp sensors. The are connected to the air filter box when I remove the box to swap air filters.... Is that the MAF or Air temp sensor?
Well I have one on each side and one is facing up and the other down...
