Well congratulations on your win. You should have taken a photo standing next to your ride, surrounded by those hot girls.

The painted trim is a nice touch. How difficult was it to remove the trim
and how long did it take you to paint?

It was soooo easy on the 55. The door moldings are just held in with 1 easily accessible screw. Then they slide off. There are clipps on the back that hold the chrome to the molding. Take that off and good to go!
The front and back popped off (chrome only) Front was tighter but still simple
I got paint from automotivetouchup.com It matched perfectly. I also got their car handle and it came out really nice. (they put automotive paint in spray cans)
check out facebook!
Thanks!

mustered up the courage to take off the trim yet.
Did you have to sand down the chrome pieces before painting?

yes, sanded them with a decent grit, then primed. Then wet sanded the primer, reprimed, wet sanded, painted a few coats, wetsanded, then cleared.
