TTM intake scoops 3rd party review...

Hey guys, I got the TTM intake scoops (ya thought I would never say that) and you know they actually do work! (data to back it up)

Fit was great, and install was a piece of cake.

Now for the results...

I have a dashdyno SPD that is also fed with a wideband A/F meter and a Phormula Ks4 knock sensor. I data log every time I drive...

I have a full carbon intake, python tubes, and kn filters. All of that stayed the same, and the only thing that was changed were the scoops.

So, I did a few quick runs from 30-110mph.

RESULTS: I have a few data sets but these were the lowest...

Since you're running a wideband, did you lean out any after the scoops?

How do you get readings from the MAF if our cars don't have one?

Good question. Also note that the the highest MP readings for each run are identical.

But it makes me wonder how it gets that information.

Getting these soon, now that my headers are in. Scoops and Tubes baby! Can't afford the TB just yet, but this will definitely help.

POWER! (Yes I am a child...)

so what's the average increase in volume and HP? was it just adding the TTM scoops? or the full Python, etc along with it?

if it was text I could copy and do in excel - but it's a picture and too lazy to type all of that in

It would be cool if the two spread sheets could be overlaid? Just eaier to see the before and after?

yes, would be good to see - similar to a dyno plot of before/after...

just some basic data breakdown here - looks like 4-4.5% increase in volume, and reduces pressure by .5

before:
MAF 1.10 - 56.70
MAP 10.55 - 381.41
Press. 5.91 - 54.93

after:
MAF 1.24 - 59.45
MAP 12.27 - 398.28
Press. 5.91 - 54.63

MAF increase 4.63%
MAP increase 4.24%
Press diff: .55% reduction

but not sure if this was just the TTM added, or the Python tubes along with it

See? (Do you believe us now?)

Plus for $250 with the group buy this isn't a whole lotta money.

Just saying...
