I know that generally these figures are not used as much, but I read that the E55's 30 to 50 time is 2.2 seconds, and the 50 to 70 is 2.5. How accurate are these numbers for anyone who has tried?
I tried it on my S55, which has the NA engine with 354hp. I got 3.5 seconds 30 to 50, and 3.9 seconds 50 to 70. Does that seem about right in comparison to the Supercharged E55?

Many resources and mags measure 50-70 in the highest gear. In normal driving, we're usually using the lowest gear possible at WOT. So with that, 2.5 sounds weak for an E55 unless it was in 5th gear. When I was stock, I normally ran 2.1-2.2 from 50-70 in 65 degree Bay Area temps. I always have a stopwatch in my driver side door pouch which I use to test my 50-70 when I think my car is running weak. The watch always proves me wrong.
