AMG owners in the NY and tristate area

I got stuck at dinner way 'til too late....I think I ate 'bout 5 lbs of the bacon with as much Luger sauce. 
I hope to be available for the next GTG. All that hp in one place with a STAR on it has to be awesome !
BTW, We're having a Mercedes at GTG at the Dragone showroom in Fairfield, CT this Saturday 11am....if anyone is local or wants to drive up I-95 a bit. Its at the old Subaru dealer ; I guess they have 2 shops now. Google them...their place is cool to check out and there will be free food and drinks.

We are having our next meet very soon... It will be an event where we drive to a destination, enjoy the roads, then have dinner/lunch on the way and at the destination.
I have gone through some dates and I am reducing the dates/times but here is what I have come up with so far!
All suggestions will be considered, and appreciated!

- Drive to either Atco Racetrack, Cape May NJ, or My fathers house in NJ near NJMSP (in Milville)
- Leave at around 11AM-1PM or 8PM-10PM
- Possible days- Thursday April 21st, Friday April 22nd, or Saturday April 23rd.. I am assuming most people would not be okay with a trip on easter sunday, though it would be less traffic and a guaranteed day off for most people, I would be okay with that as well.
- possible routes- Merc GPS to destination with no tolls, highways, or tunnels, Come off GWB and head down through Princeton back roads, or the easiest, through Lincoln tunnel to Turnpike then to route 55 in south NJ
- We can have multiple starting points setup... but I assume the easiest middle grounds was where we met last time in fresh meadows (which is one of the reasons why we had that meet last time to get ppl familiar with that location)

I know April 22nd me and a few others will be running our cars at ATCO. The track rental was done througth TTMotorsports, and I think all spots are filled, I dont know if there is any opening, contact Bruce through pm. However it would be nice to see you guys make that trip to ATCO to watch us go down the track or participate. That date and time is just an option.

It was great! Very nice to meet you guys, it was a fun night.

Soon om Thursday nights we will be starting our meets again at RPM. The first one will be in May and we will have a big bbq for everyone. That's the plan anyway, I will let everyone know the date soon.

We can meet up every week if you guys would like! Saturdays at 8pm work best for most members, so I will send out an email to all members on the email list. Also from the people who are doing the ATCO meet state there were only 2 slots open... it sucks it was so in the dark I would have jumped on it earlier!

Just to clear things up, we WILL be having meets every week at the same location (info is in my SIG)! Every saturday at 8pm, I am hoping the weather will stay positive and WARM!
Also the first trip we are coordinating is on April 23rd the destination will be South NJ for a BBQ.. more info will be given to everyone once things clear up and become clear.

Today's meet is canceled bc of Rain, and since it is outdoors there is nothing we can do about it at this point... we will be having our first trip next saturday to NJ... and from the looks of it things should be ok! lets hope it stays that way..

Just an update on the club, This Saturday's trip to south NJ will take the place of our weekly meets, the starting point will be the same meeting point and we will be leaving at 11AM from fresh meadows, start showing up at 1030am... the trip on this saturday is still ON, even though it will most likely rain off and on, nothing will change, meet at fresh meadows at 1030, leave for nj at 11AM.

The weather for 2maro is looking very bad, this sucks... I really wanted to have our first trip, but Im going to have to change the date to next saturday the 30th of april... the forecast is much nicer... and it isnt very hard to change the date... same place, same directions, same everything just next saturday (70F and sunny)
I really hope the weather doesnt interfere with our events in the future.
