I need it for an attempt to get in the 10s. Your 180 measures to an 185? Or an asp 185 measures to a real 180?
Im looking for a true 182 pulley if anyone makes one

Thats what I was thinking and thats why I measured it as soon as I got it. Another member did the same thing with his 180 and it measured 185 as well. who knows..

I'm guessing that a lot of the cars with larger than 180mm are doing other things than the 1/4. I also would guess that there are more 55's in the 10's than the ones we know of..

Well its kinda a go big or go home thing.I have a 178 on her now and just did 4 pulls and on the 4th I took 4th gear to about 5800 and the a/f was 10:7 so there is plenty of fuel there for more boost.

I will admit that part of my problems before were from the car pulling timing and not 100% from the heat of the pulley.
I went from trapping 116 with a 180mm and then trapping 119 with the same tune on stock boost.
I just did 3 pulls back to back and the car made within 2 whp on all runs.

i see your sig that u have stock TB. i think going for 82mm TB is better then changing from 178mm pulley to 182 or 185. power from TB is ay more an better + u don't heat your S/C

Iv had a 82mmtb it made zero gains on the dyno, the gains people claim are with tb and retune and would of prolly made the same power with the stock tb and just retuned it with more timing and less fuel.
Shardul is over 500whp and 600rwt on a stock tb and 185 pulley.
EDIT 190mm pulley

Here is my last dyno and its tuned on the rich side and pulls all the way to red line.
This dyno reads low and the other dyno is a Dimas car done the same day.

so in your case if you knocked off .010 ie 1.71x you could possibly run 11.35 so imagine if you ripped a 1.67 60'

If I could pull a 1.6 60 ft that would be a low 11 pass the way it is now but I had traction issues all last year at my track.

after installing a larger TB. you should use star to make readaptaion. goinggtom stock TB to 82mm will give u 15rwhp with adaptation by STAR and more than 30rwhp with STAR+ tune.
and sometimes it takes more than 100 mile for the car to recognize the changes.
i can bet that it will show more power later on after driving it and make it adapt. the same as intake filters.
these methods were tested.

I will take some pic and post it up later today. Ran it on the car was good, but hard to keep AIT in check with stock E/C. AS you know with these car if you can keep AIT in check and have a good tune and fuel up top, man these cars are unreal.

Here are the pic's, I have the 190 (right) next to my 180 ASP with the water pump pulley just to show the water pump pulley size needed to clear the crank pulley. I would stick with the 180 to 185, like you said. unless you have a "Water to Air Ice Box Reservoir in the trunk". Like what the turbo guys use. Here is a link to what I'm talking about.

I did have some logs with the 190 on the car but can't find them. If I find them I will post it, this was back in 07. R-flow use this set-up, the "Water to Air Ice Box Reservoir" and was able to keep is AIT under control in the FL heat.
