20 inch wheels..lug bolts??

I purchased 20 inch wheels and have been told that they require the ball/rounded lug bolts. How long do the bolts need to be? Nobody has been able to confirm with me what the length needs to be.. The front wheels are 20x8.5 with an offset of 35mm. The rear wheels are 20x9.5 with an offset of 35mm. Will I need wheel spacers to clear the front brake calipers? I cant wait to get these wheels on but this has become quite an ordeal.. any help/ideas/info would be helpful thanks

Measure the distance your lug bolt sticks out behind your original wheel. It should be the same measurement on the new wheels or match it by getting a new thread length here:

A trial fit will tell you if you need any spacers to clear the calipers or to adjust the look. Put some tape on the caliper because the paint might chip if you bang it with the wheel. The process will be easier also if you use two wheel hanger bolts.
