In my opinion, the E55 has a refined and sophisticated look right from the factory... There isn't much that can be done to make it look better, but there are plenty of ways to make it look worse.
With the dropping market prices of these cars, they are now within reach of a younger crowd.... it can be pretty obvious at times by looking at internet photos of these cars. Massive wheels, lots of extra spoilers or body cladding, limo tint on the windows and a car that's slammed into the weeds. At times is feels like a German interpretation of the ricer crowd ( would that be "Reiser"?)
It really seems to "cheapen" the Mercedes brand to see them modified like that... Then again, everyone thinks they have "good taste" when it comes to their car and their mods. It unlikely that you'll ever get 100% consensus on your mods with the rest of the forum anyway.... So just do what you like.

I am such a handsome guy and my movie star smile literally leaves women wet in anticipation.
The choice of tint"s" is and has been a life long dilemma for me as well.
I currently have no tint but I am considering the MB shades for the rear side windows to complement the rear window shade.
There are times when I wish I had tint, but I can't bring myself to have it done.

Tint is a must on all of my vehicles, EXCEPT for my older muscle cars.
Also, too dark of a tint takes away from it looking classy.
A white car is a must.

Definitely agree with some of the opinions, I do like the car without tint so I'm gonna ride it out for a bit and see how I feel, and as far as mods I'm just thinking some euro 63rs wheels on 19 bc I don't want to big and I'm getting tr links to drop it no more than like 1/2 inch

I kept getting busted for my fronts, so now they are 20% tint, rears are uber dark. Factory tint blows.
Look at my sig, factory front, tinted rear. It's different now.

And to note, it is slammed to the ground, front lip spoiler, trunk spoiler, rear diffuser, rear window spoiler, working on 20's but that is going to have to wait as I am 10 sec. bound. Sorry guys, had to post that after I read the laughable post above.

If you tint, I recommend using the same level all around, looks more custom...35% has been good for my rides, even in Northern Cali; I have not had issues (maybe the confidential registration helps).
