I've read the owners manual about the Airmatic suspension but I'm still confused about the automatic lowering when parked, engine shut off and doors locked when in "C" mode? Sometimes the car lowers itself and sometimes it doesn't? While parked, sometimes it looks like the front of the car is a 4x4 and the rear is lower. What the heck?

 

The airmatic suspension tries to keep the car level, so if you aren't parked on a level surface, different corners of the car will be different heights.

 

This is definitely a true statement

 

almost EVERY time i leave my car and lock it, the front lowers about 1 inch, even if parked downhill... looks good, just odd
