miles dont have anything to do with battery life ---How old is the battery? and Is your location really hot or cold? How often do you drive the car - does it sit for long periods of time?

Im gonna attempt to recharge it after I check the volts etc...worried about disconnecting it from the car, idle issues etc...any thoughts/experience with this? Also I just read there is two batteries in the car, I was planning on recharging the one in the trunk...since Ive been using that one to jump...where is the other and do I need to recharge it as well? I have no power what so ever, interior lights...nothing. We drive it a few times a week, sometimes longer then others, I'm assuming its stock battery 7 years old now. Like I said in my first post I left the parking lights on at least 6 hours and it was totally dead when I got back. It must be close or totally discharged seeing how I drove it around till the warning of battery function went away. After we parked it overnight it was dead in the morning again. I'm assuming the alt just barely had it hanging on..so it will need to be charged.

My concern is mainly after the disconnect, I'm assuming I'm going to get codes galore; possible misfires...etc. I'm sure I'm going to have to take it to the stealer to get this straightened out..Im coming up with my G service in a few days anyhow, anyone have some input on this?

you should find the production week of your battery stamped onto the negative pole (wwyy)
a "deep discharge" is very bad for battery life.
if the battery was good, after some driving it should come back. if it didn't, and if its close to 7 yo, it could be because it was close to its end-of-life ond that deep discharge after you kept lights on for long was its grace-beat .. so, you'll have to replace it.

I too have had battery probs. recently. thought i left the lights on, but i didnt, and 6 hours later, read 4 volts with a MM at the trunk battery.. jumped, started and drove until the IC service menu read a steady 14.2 volts. parked and same results next morning, except it wasn't as dead, but still not enough to unlock/lock.. jumped and drove it like it was stolen, repeatedly red-lining it in first, doing rolling burnouts, and several wot kick-downs from about 4th to 2n'd red-line, and now going on day 3 without a problem.. so I don't know if the car hated how i drive and decided to die on me or what, but i had fun until i saw the reserve fuel light go on after putting $45 in the previous day.. lol now its $4.16 and i have about 1 gallon left. the car is now in C.

Just picked up this charger/tender for storage..http://batterytender.com/battery-ten...-at-1-25a.html
Do I have to disconnect the terminals when charging just to clarify..and where is the second battery located, and used for besides starting?

no need to disconnect terminals, and the second battery is under the cabin air filter on the passenger side under the hood at the firewall. i believe its for the memory settings on the seats and personal settings throughout the car such as radio presets and such
