Texas Mile plus tune by Eurocharged

This is my Texas mile tune that had over 30 hours of road tuning , 1/4 mile runs and most of all the Full Texas mile run.. I bet it is safe to say, that there is not a 55 tune out that that has this much proven testing done to create it. Texas mile plus tune, is the original tune plus another couple hours of dyno testing recently, to increase torque and gain a few more ponies.. I know some members are asking for the Texas mile tune but you may want to ask for the Texas mile plus tune now.. Jerry tweaked the file today, to further increase MPG ( part throttle driving) in these times of 4 plus MPG prices. So, the tune now has proven power, Torque and increased MPG!

Out of the 3 pulls, best TQ was 640.1! Best RWHP is below.

I think its time for me to set myself some new goals

Took Jeremy 8+ hrs to complete my last 1/4 mile tune

Specially after seeing "Monsters" out there making 100+ plus more torque that im making

640 is just insane. Amazing, the numbers you guys are getting!

I guess the biggest question I have is how do those IAT's look after 1/2 to 3/4 mile? They gotta be scorching eh?

I thought the same thing. Exotics tank setup is pretty sweet. He ran the mile and parked the car. We opened the tank and could easily put our hand in the water...was luke warm!

now on the cls we ran with just the upgraded HE, ya were massive in the 97 degree heat!

With Ice in my tank: My 1/4 mile runs, there is still plenty of ice left in the tank after a run. In the Texas mile run in 85 deg heat, water would be in the 50 deg range at the end.. IAT`s stayed below 150 on the whole run..

We did a lot of road tuning in warm weather and would do 10 plus back to back runs to tune car (30 to 130 mph runs). No ice in tank and maybe 2-3 minutes of slow driving between runs or a couple of minutes to reflash at most.. My H/'E system , trunk tank and one external / one internal pump system flows almost double what even the best single pump can attain. So with just water, lot of back to back runs, still had no heat issues. As I recall most runs stayed under 150 and a couple hit 160 degrees. Again that is with 10 plus back to back runs.. I am very happy with this set up and it has been trouble free! This pump set up can **** more than a Russian race horse!

Thanks! Never had a chance to get a good 1/4 mile run.. Just one shot at it , in so/so weather and launch was not optimum. So one so/so run and kicked off track for no roll cage. Will run this summer with ported heads.

With ported heads, IATS will also be lower!! Large free flowing headers and exhaust also helps my IATS. So then, it may be time to look at a 200mm..j/k

Ahahaha 195 way too hardcore but I AM looking into a 190 or maybe the big daddy 195 sometime in the future with the topmounts.

My IATs are great so I'll take things one step at a time for now

Either way I swear one of these days I'll fly out of Canada to Texas just to check out your ride! Haha

Your car sounds like a beast, but I would think with everything you have done you would easily be in tens considering I see other cars on the forum with basic stage two and the same #'s. Makes me think more is not better.

You have not seen any CL55`s running in the 10`s, so you may want to read up a little more before making such a blanket statement. I list all my mods and info , including the good , bad and ugly.. Apples Oranges.. How many 1/4 mile or 1 mile passes you have in your E55? Why not post your times , so we can see? You have any DYI`s to share? Come on, we all like to learn.

Cl55= 4500 race weight and extra Launch control MGT that slows launch power. Has to due with the 40K hydraulic suspension. E55 running in the 10s= 200 to 250 lbs less. You can add 1mph per 100 lbs on average.. My 180 mph mile time should tell you a lot more but you may not understand the physics of that..

Your worst nightmare...
I applaud you for your efforts & all you have done and the DIY. You have proved it in the mile, running 180 is no joke, specially in a 4500 lb. Come on!!!

We are all in the same team Gents. Let's not forget that.

Was not trying to hate! I thought the CL was lighter for some reason. The curb weight on my 2004 e55 says 5k pounds on the door jam. You obviously have a fast car I was just wondering why some cars were faster (e55's) with less mods in the 1/4 mile. Anyways, good look on your goals

very nice , but got a question
how come your CL55 (180mph) is much faster then the CLS55 (167mph) they went out with last time?
Just wondering what you think could be the reasons behind it

Thanks and congrats
