cracked wheels = excuse to buy new rims, need some advice
so I found my front oem wheels are cracked. Kind of a bummer but I guess it gives me an excuse to upgrade. I have about $1500 to throw on a new set of wheels and need some recommendations. I wanted a set of forgestars but the benz is my daily and I can't really wait on build time. Longest I can wait is a week or two before I need them. Could you guys throw out some suggestions for a good set of 19 inch wheels that I can pick up relatively quickly? Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I literally purchased some gunmetal CLS reps from oemwheelsplus on friday, because my OEM wheels keep cracking and I can't keep walking out to my car to find my tire flat because the inner or outer lip cracked again. This has been twice since January. My wheels arrive on Wednesday, so the shipping is definitely within your time frame, as there is no lead time.
You can buy a set for $580.
Be sure to browse around in the wheel classifieds threads, there are some awesome deals in there periodically.

has anyone had any experience with ASA wheels? I found a great deals on their GT4 wheel on tirerack, just wondering how their quality is.

18" - I have brand new tires on my OEM wheels - and for $500, my tires cost more than my wheels
So if my wheels arrive at a decent hour on Wednesday I'll run to NTB or TireRack and have them swap out the tires [carefully]
We'll see how the 18's take the roads around my parts, and titrate up from there.

I never realized the oem wheels were so prone to cracking. You had two and i ve read a number of other threads just now with bent/cracked wheels. Kind of ridiculous that a high end car would have this issue. On a brighter note, can't wait to see how the wheels look on your car!
