Sumitomo Tire Size Rec's
I had 285/x/18's on my 06 (rear) and can't remember much past that. 
If someone has the optimal setup for a E55 with stock 18's please let me know. Need front and rear sizes. TIA.

A 285/35/18 or 285/30/18 would work.. Id go with the 35 as it offers more protection for the wheels.

Depends if lowered alot in rear
285-30-18 is what I am running now.... Sumitomo HTRZII
I think I could of fit the 35Profile assuming I don't take rear passengers when car is lowered.

Im running a 285/35/18 RE050's with CLS55 wheels. I daily my E55, I think im going to go with 275 /35/18 for my next set.. 265 is too small
