Dyno pull vs long duration WOT run.

OK so there we go.

How is a dyno pull different to a sustained WOT run (e.g. 1 mile drag) in terms of A/F ratio and fuel flow ....?

If fuel pressure is stable surely there should be no issue? Or are we hitting injector duty cycle limits on the longer runs...?

I am curious why we dont see evidence of this on a dyno pull.... even if it is for a brief moment.

In real life you are hitting a wall of air at 150mph+ that you aren't hitting on a dyno. This makes a HUGE difference. Some dyno's also put less stress on the car even in the low rpms ( like dynojets ) because the drum weighs less than the car.

depends on the dyno, we see it as our dyno has the ability to monitor injector duty cycle

Ok so it's due to the load on the drivetrain at high speed. I'm curious why some of the "older" tuners dont play with the injectors ... E.g kleemann.... Is it because more recent cars have reached even higher outputs?

I think that would be a good assumption. More and more people are going to bigger pullies and throttle bodies etc as well...
