e63 QUESTIONS
i was wondering if i delete my secondary cats and resonator on my '07 e63 and add bmc air filters, will any of that void my warranty from Mercedes-Benz?

it depends on what you take the car in for.
for example if you have a cracked header and they see you dont have secondary cats they can deny warranty. on the other hand if your PS pump goes bad and they see you dont have cats they cannot link the failuer to the absence of cats and hence will honor the warranty.

Sure it can if they want to be dicks but they have to prove the reason the part failed or warranty issue occured was becuase of the modifications. Most dealers dont really care, for those items you have listed. I have Resonator delete, Renntech Air Box & K&N and knock on wood no issues

Do not remove the resonators and the cats u will lose alot of low end performance .
Tune the car and do a power pully for now . Drop exhaust and gut the rear cats but keep them there for the visual .

My advice would be to wait until your warranty expires, and then mod the hell out of it.

If you pull the charcoals and put in the BMC's I'm sure you gain some amount, but I seriously doubt you'll feel it. One thing I notice without charcoals in was that it seems to rev out smoother up top.

Looked at C's and 997 GT3's, but I might just get a new Boss 302. Plan on tracking a lot more so I want something that's not retarded to replace consumables on.! Hit me up when you come up. I'm actually doing a show in Houston the 3rd-9th of June.
